The Chairwoman of the National Trade Union Centre and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, Oguljennet Berdiliyeva, took part in a high-level meeting of the UN General Assembly dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women. This was reported by IIC Turkmenistan.

In her speech, O. Berdiliyeva emphasised that Turkmenistan consistently adheres to its international commitments in the field of gender equality and the expansion of women's rights.

O. Berdiliyeva also highlighted the importance of international cooperation in achieving sustainable development goals.
