From 20 to 29 June, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) is hosting the ‘RuKod’ international training camp for Olympic programming. Schoolchildren from seven countries are taking part in the event, including a team from Turkmenistan — future participants in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). This was reported by the news agency Orient.

Young talents from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Serbia have joined the international training camp. The training programme is modelled on an international centre of excellence in competitive programming and includes intensive classes that closely resemble the real conditions of the competition.

For young Turkmen computer scientists, participation in the training camp opens up truly unique prospects. The programme involves training under the guidance of experienced mentors who are winners and prize-winners of international programming Olympiads.

An additional element of the training is excursions to leading Russian IT companies, which contributes to a better understanding of industry trends and helps participants immerse themselves in the technological environment.

A distinctive feature of the programme is bilingual instruction in Russian and English. This expands opportunities for intercultural communication and professional growth for participants.
