Turkmenistan is ready to expand cooperation within the framework of the ‘C5+1’

Turkmenistan intends to develop cooperation with the United States in key areas: security, economy, energy and environmental protection, said President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the ‘Central Asia + US’ Summit. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

Head of State emphasised that the meeting would contribute to strengthening the region's multilateral partnership with the United States and sustainable development in the ‘C5+1’ format.

The summit in Washington was chaired by US President Donald Trump and was also attended by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
