In Ashgabat, the International Forum “Peace and Trust” is being held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. A delegation from Tajikistan is participating in the event, reports the IIC.

Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon thanked Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for hosting and organizing the forum. He congratulated the Turkmen people on the anniversary of their neutrality.

Emomali Rahmon noted that over 30 years, Turkmenistan has confirmed the effectiveness of its neutrality policy, which strengthens international trust, security, and the promotion of peacebuilding diplomacy.

The President of Tajikistan emphasized the importance of Turkmenistan’s initiatives, including the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, for developing cooperation and sustainable global development.

Tajikistan reaffirmed its commitment to the principles of peaceful dialogue, cooperation, and adherence to international law, as well as its readiness to actively participate in efforts to strengthen peace and stability in the region and worldwide.
