On 10 October, in Addis Ababa, the newly appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (residing in Ankara), Mekan Ishangulyev, presented copies of his credentials to the Director General of the Diplomatic Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Aziza Geleta Dessalegn. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

During the meeting, the Director General of the Diplomatic Protocol Service congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his new duties.

For his part, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan expressed his readiness to make every effort to further develop and strengthen bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Ethiopia. The parties also discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries.
