On 15 June 2025, the Azerbaijani city of Shusha hosted an international conference entitled ‘The New World Order: Geopolitical Aspects and Global Challenges.’ Turkmenistan was represented at the forum by a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Democratic Party, A.Serdarov. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event, organised by the ‘New Azerbaijan Party’, brought together politicians, experts and representatives of parties from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. In his speech, the Head of the Turkmen delegation emphasised the importance of permanent neutrality as the basis of the country's foreign policy.

During the visit, meetings were held with the leadership of the ‘New Azerbaijan Party’ and representatives of the presidential administration and parliament of Azerbaijan. The parties discussed current issues on the international agenda and prospects for cooperation.

The conference in Azerbaijan served as a platform for exchanging views on key issues of modern geopolitics and strengthening inter-party ties between the countries of the region.
