The Turkmen brand “Gowher Gouvernet” showcased its collection at the international “Tanger Fashion Week 2026”, which took place on June 20 in the Moroccan city of Tangier at the Fairmont Tazi Palace. This was reported by the online publication “Business Turkmenistan”.
The event brought together designers, industry representatives, press, and buyers from different countries and aims to develop Tangier as a hub for fashion and creative industries in the Mediterranean region.
Designer Gowher Pirkulieva combines traditional Turkmen ornaments and craft techniques with contemporary fashion trends in her work, preserving national heritage while adapting it to the international market.
The brand regularly participates in major fashion events in Europe and the Middle East, including Paris Haute Couture Week, the Oriental Fashion Show in Azerbaijan, UNESCO events in Paris, and Maroc Fashion Week.
In 2025, Tanger Fashion Week also featured designers from various countries, and among the guests and participants were well-known fashion houses and brands, including Vivienne Westwood, Chopard, and Caroline’s Couture.
