In Ashgabat, within the framework of an international conference, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Çalık Holding”, Ahmet Chalik, delivered a speech. He thanked the organizers for the invitation and greeted the forum participants on behalf of the company, according to IIC.
Ahmet Chalik noted that the conference would serve as a useful platform for discussing the future of urban development and modern approaches to urban planning. According to him, Ashgabat today represents a world-class metropolis. He emphasized that the city combines the historical heritage of the Silk Road with modern architectural development and advanced infrastructure.
The head of the holding stated that the current forum could become a source of new ideas for implementing the “Ashgabat-2045” concept, aimed at developing the urban environment, introducing technologies, and ensuring environmental sustainability. He also noted that modern cities are evaluated based on infrastructure quality, environmental friendliness, and human-centered design. In this context, he said, Ashgabat’s development stands as a notable example in the region.
Ahmet Chalik separately emphasized Turkmenistan’s long-term approach to energy policy and quality of life. He added that ongoing reforms are creating conditions for foreign investment and participation by international businesses.
In conclusion, he highlighted the involvement of “Gap İnşaat” and “Çalık Enerji” in urban development projects in Turkmenistan and their many years of activity in the local market.
