On 17 September, a new modern village called Bagtly Zamana was opened in the Gowshut geneshlik of the Kaka etrap of the Ahal velayat. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The village was built as part of the ‘National Programme of the President of Turkmenistan for Transforming the Social and Living Conditions of the Population in Villages, Settlements, Towns, Etraps, and Etrap Centers for the Period Until 2028’ and is timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

The village has 400 residential buildings, a school with 640 places, a kindergarten with 320 places, a shopping centre, a health centre and an administrative building. The facilities are equipped with modern equipment, creating conditions for education, healthcare and a comfortable life for residents.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the authorities, the public and elders. The festive atmosphere was complemented by performances by artists, and the culmination was the housewarming of families who received the keys to their new homes.

The opening of Bagtly Zamana has become a symbol of improved living standards and evidence of the country's socio-economic development.
