On 12 November, a telephone conversation was held between the Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Marek Eštok. This was reported by TerraNews.

The interlocutors discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Slovak cooperation in a wide range of areas.

The parties noted their mutual readiness to further deepen constructive cooperation both at the bilateral level and within international and regional organisations, primarily the United Nations.

A separate topic of discussion was the preparation for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled for December this year in Ashgabat.
