On 6 November, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, a meeting was held between Atajan Movlamov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Munsoo Kurrimbaccus, High Commissioner-designate of the Republic of Mauritius to Pakistan. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

The parties discussed the situation in the region, noting Turkmenistan's commitment to a peaceful policy of permanent neutrality and the importance of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy in Ashgabat for building trust and resolving disputes.

They also discussed current and future areas of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.

In conclusion, A. Movlamov wished M. Kurrimbaccus success in his mission and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of relations between Turkmenistan and Mauritius.
