On 6 October, Turkmenistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy, Toyly Komekov, held a meeting with the Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso. This was reported by the news website Asmannews.

The parties discussed preparations for a business forum with the participation of representatives of Turkmen and Italian businesses, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation in the trade and economic sphere and interaction within international organisations.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their mutual readiness to strengthen partnership relations between Turkmenistan and Italy.
