In Ashgabat, the customs services of Turkmenistan and Russia signed an Agreement on simplifying customs procedures for the movement of goods and vehicles between countries. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The document was signed by the Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, Maksat Hudaykuliyev, and the Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Sergey Shklyaev.

In addition, following the 13th meeting of the Turkmen-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, the parties signed a number of bilateral agreements, including a cooperation plan for 2025-2026 between the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan and Rosreestr, as well as a Cooperation Agreement between the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan and the St. Petersburg Exchange.
