The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the city of Arkadag on a working trip, during which he familiarised himself with the projects for the second phase of the city's development. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

Hero Arkadag inspected the construction work, including the construction of a mosque, and gave instructions on the organisation of the coordinated functioning of the relevant structures for the successful implementation of the tasks set.

Particular attention was paid to the improvement and compliance of the facilities with modern requirements, including the quality of construction materials. Projects for sculptures, bus stops and other elements along Ahalteke Atlar Avenue were also discussed. Aesthetics, compactness and durability were named as important criteria.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasised the need for modern design of the horse sculptures and the reliability of their foundations, as well as compliance with standards for cycle paths and running tracks. The National Leader of the Turkmen people instructed that the quality of the materials used and the convenience of the infrastructure along the avenue be ensured.
