Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on preparations for a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of the national manat. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The forum, which will be held on 1 November, will bring together about 250 participants from ministries, departments, banks and educational institutions specialising in finance and economics.

Discussions are planned on the socio-economic initiatives of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, reforms in the banking sector, national currency management, as well as issues of monetary policy, digital banking services, electronic payments and international financial cooperation.

After hearing the report, the Head of State emphasised the importance of high-quality preparation for the conference and gave the Deputy Prime Minister the relevant instructions.
