At the conference ‘Turkmen-French Relations: Challenges and Prospects in the Modern World’ in Paris, Gulshat Yusupova, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan, presented initiatives for the development of academic cooperation with French universities, including Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Sorbonne and the Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The proposals focus on joint master's and doctoral programmes in green energy, water resource management and diplomatic studies, as well as research projects in the field of sustainable development, including methane emissions monitoring, hydrogen technologies and environmentally friendly urban planning.

G. Yusupova emphasised that Turkmenistan's neutrality is not only a foreign policy doctrine, but also an intellectual concept that promotes dialogue and innovation.
