President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the 26th conference of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens and members of the association on the opening of the event. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The Head of State noted that independence and neutrality have become the foundation of national statehood and the pride of the people. The President of Turkmenistan recalled the contribution of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to strengthening independence and neutrality.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also pointed to large-scale transformations – the construction of new cities, industries and roads – which ensure steady development.

In addition, the Head of State noted the activities of the association and its members, who promote Turkmenistan's initiatives based on traditions of peace and humanism around the world.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that the country's high international authority is confirmed by the support for its initiatives and the adoption of the UN resolution on permanent neutrality in March 2025. The President of Turkmenistan also recalled the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone, calling it an important confirmation of international recognition.
