The President of Turkmenistan has pardoned a group of foreign nationals

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has signed a Decree pardoning a group of foreign nationals convicted in the country, according to TDH.
The pardon is timed to coincide with International Neutrality Day. The document notes that this measure is aimed at strengthening friendly ties between states and reflects a commitment to the principles of humanism.
Foreign citizens are exempt from further serving their sentences.
