On 23 September, Nurmuhammet Golliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, took part in the III Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian Countries in Bishkek. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.
The participants discussed strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, economic interaction, migration policy and digitalisation.
The Turkmen side emphasised the importance of parliamentary diplomacy for peace and stability. Following the forum, the Bishkek Declaration was adopted, confirming the desire of Central Asian countries to develop dialogue and joint economic projects. The next, IV forum will be held in Tajikistan.
