Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of air transport, business contacts and tourism. This was reported by the news website Asmannews.

Following the trilateral meeting held in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone, a joint statement was signed. The document was signed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The parties emphasised that deepening cooperation in these areas will contribute to an increase in passenger and freight traffic between the three countries.
