The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Islamabad, Atajan Movlamov, held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Niaz Ahmad Akhtar. The sides discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in higher education, fundamental science, and academic exchange between the two countries, according to the news agency Orient.
During the meeting, the potential for developing bilateral cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere was highlighted, including personnel training, scientific research, and academic mobility.
Special attention was paid to establishing direct partnerships between higher education institutions of Turkmenistan and Pakistan. The issues of student, faculty, and young researcher exchanges, as well as the implementation of joint educational and research projects, were also discussed.
At the end of the talks, both sides confirmed their readiness to maintain regular dialogue and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the humanitarian and educational sphere.
