Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan have signed a set of new agreements and memoranda

During the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the exchange of bilateral documents was held. The parties signed agreements on cultural and humanitarian cooperation, migration, pension provision, as well as memoranda on legal issues, veterinary medicine, science and regional cooperation. Plans for joint action in transport and healthcare for 2026–2027 have been adopted, according to AsmanNews.

An Agreement was concluded between the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and the Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cooperation in the information sphere.

In addition, members of the Turkmen delegation held separate meetings with Kazakhstani agencies. As a result, Memoranda were signed between the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports and the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, between the Turkmen State Institute of Culture and the International University of Tourism and Hospitality, and between the State Museum of Turkmenistan and the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

‘Türkmentelekom’ and ‘TNS-Plus’ LLP agreed to build a cable border crossing and connect the main telecommunications networks on the border between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
