Turkmenistan and India discussed bilateral cooperation

On 27 November, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Bandaru Wilsonbabu. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The parties emphasised the friendly nature of Turkmen-Indian relations and productive cooperation in politics, trade, economics and culture. The importance of high-level contacts for the development of bilateral relations was noted.

The Diplomats discussed cooperation between the countries in international organisations, including the UN, and highlighted the significance of the upcoming International Forum on Peace and Trust and the conference ‘The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation for Sustainable Development’ in December.
