Turkmenistan and Armenia held consultations on consular issues

On 11 June, interdepartmental consultations between Turkmenistan and Armenia on consular cooperation were held in Yerevan. The meeting brought together specialists from the Foreign Affairs Ministries and relevant agencies of both countries. This was reported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen delegation was headed by Dovletmurat Muratov, Head of the Consular Service Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan. The Armenian side was represented by Artur Petrosyan, Head of the Consular Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Armenia. During the talks, the interlocutors discussed topical aspects of bilateral cooperation, including issues of citizenship, protection of the rights of citizens and legal entities, as well as conditions for mutual travel.

Following the consultations, a final protocol was signed. The participants expressed mutual interest in further developing cooperation in all areas of consular work.
