Students and teachers majoring in Agricultural Mechanisation at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute and the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University completed a joint internship in Germany and the Netherlands. This was reported by the news website Asmannews.
The programme focused on studying modern John Deere machinery and equipment and applying theoretical knowledge in practice. In the German city of Mannheim, participants visited a tractor manufacturing plant, learned about the company's history and production processes, including the full assembly cycle and automation. The students also visited a factory in Bruchsal and a central spare parts warehouse.
In Kaiserslautern, at the company's European Technology and Innovation Centre, students learned how to use the ‘Work Planner’ programme for digital management of agricultural machinery.
The delegation visited a factory in Horst (Netherlands), where mounted and self-propelled sprayers are manufactured. The students studied various models, as well as innovative systems for precise fertiliser application and plant spraying.
The programme also included excursions to technical museums and historical sites. The internship gave students valuable experience working with the advanced technologies of the world leader in agricultural machinery manufacturing.
