Turkmen schoolchildren achieved significant success at the ‘First Global Challenge 2025’ International Robotics Competition, held in Panama from 29 October to 1 November. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The ‘Oguzrobot’ team won a first-degree diploma in the ‘Skills Challenge’ category, which assesses the ability of robots to perform autonomous tasks. Their robot completed a set of tasks in 50 seconds, scoring 54.6 points. The teams from Armenia and China took second and third place.

More than 970 young engineers from 194 countries participated in the competition. The Turkmen team consisted of students from Specialised School No. 97 in Ashgabat: Chyryev Ismayyl, Gylychmuhammedov Emirhan, Cholukov Aznavur, Gulov Shirmuhammet and Orazgeldiyev Gurbangeldi. Under the guidance of Myrat Sahetguliyev, they trained at the ‘Kämil bilim’ training centre.

The team's success reflects the state's focus on developing national education in line with international standards and supporting the comprehensive development of young people.
