Last week, 11 deals were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. This was reported by TerraNews.

Entrepreneurs from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased urea produced by ‘Türkmenhimiýa’ and aviation kerosene produced by ‘Türkmennebit’ State Concerns for foreign currency.

In addition, bedding sets, cotton yarn, cotton fibre, light industry waste, as well as licorice roots and rhizomes were sold for export. The buyers were companies from China, Turkey, Switzerland and Estonia. The total amount of foreign trade transactions exceeded $5.5 million.

On the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene, base oil (‘Türkmennebit’ State Concern) and cotton fibre worth over 58.6 million manats.
