The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, congratulated the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on his successful state visit to the Republic of Korea, his award of an Honorary Doctorate in Political Science from Sungkyunkwan University, and the presentation of an Honorary Medal and a special certificate from the Korea International Trade Association. The message of congratulations noted that the visit had helped to take Turkmen-Korean cooperation to a new level. High-level negotiations in Seoul, the signing of documents, the Turkmen-Korean Business Forum and participation in the ‘Republic of Korea – Central Asia’ Summit were key events of the visit.
