In his congratulatory speech, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the first international textile exhibition ‘TurkmenTextile Expo – 2025’ held during the International Year of Peace and Trust symbolises the country's openness to international cooperation. He described Turkmen weaving as an important part of the world's cultural heritage, passed down from generation to generation. This was reported by the online publication ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The Head of State emphasised that the textile industry occupies a leading place in the country's economy, and the products of Turkmen enterprises are exported to dozens of countries thanks to their high quality and environmental friendliness. The President noted the priority of introducing innovative technologies and expanding international partnerships in this industry.

The exhibition in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry building features silk fabrics, clothing and other textile products demonstrating the industry's achievements over the years of independence. The President expressed confidence that the event will help attract foreign investment and strengthen the position of Turkmen textiles in the global market.
