President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree awarding a group of citizens with the ‘Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin’ medal, timed to coincide with the Harvest Holiday. This was reported by TDH.

High state awards were presented for significant contributions to strengthening the country's independence and sovereignty, developing agriculture, loyal service to the Motherland, and many years of conscientious work.

The medal was awarded to representatives of various sectors of the agricultural complex — specialists in agricultural and water management structures, machine operators, livestock breeders, tenants of dayhan associations, agronomists and workers of food industry enterprises from all regions of the country.

As noted in the Decree, the award is intended to encourage citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of agriculture in Turkmenistan and the strengthening of the country's food security.
