President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Moscow on a working visit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is reported by the International Information Centre.

During the trip, the head of state will take part in the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

The visit of the Turkmen leader emphasises the respectful attitude to the heroic past of the peoples of the former Soviet Union, as well as serves as a confirmation of the sustainable nature of friendly and partnership relations between Ashgabat and Moscow.
