The Consul of Turkmenistan in Germany held a negotiation with the leadership of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate

Negotiation between Murat Ozbekbayev, Consul of Turkmenistan in Germany, and regional leaders took place in Mainz, the capital of the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The German partners participating in the meeting included State Secretary of the Ministry of Economics, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture Petra Dick-Walther and representatives of the Rheinhessen Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This was reported by IIC.

During the negotiation, the parties discussed establishing direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries. Particular attention was paid to the prospects for cooperation in areas such as chemical production, the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, the energy sector, mechanical engineering, high-tech manufacturing and the agricultural sector.

The participants in the meeting expressed mutual interest in organising joint events and business visits. The Rheinhessen Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which brings together 42,000 enterprises, confirmed its readiness to develop partnerships with Turkmen businesses.
