The Ashgabat Equestrian Complex hosted celebrations dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, attended by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. This was reported by the news website Asmannews.

The celebration brought together government officials, diplomats, artists and the media. Exhibitions were organised to showcase the beauty of Ahal-Teke horses and the skill of Turkmen artists and jewellers.

Seven races of various distances were held as part of the celebrations. The winners were the horses Babadash, Gelejek, Hazyna, Dovamat, Garayol, Gudratlydag and Bezirgen. The races were followed by an awards ceremony.

The participants expressed their gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for his support of equestrian sports and assured him that they would continue to promote the glory of Turkmen horses.
