The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has congratulated the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the people of the country on the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Tajikistan’s independence. This was reported by the news agency TDH.

In his congratulatory message, the Head of State highlighted Tajikistan’s achievements in strengthening statehood, socio-economic development and enhancing its international standing. Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised Turkmenistan’s interest in the further development of bilateral relations.

According to the President of Turkmenistan, the two countries are successfully cooperating in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, and other spheres. The Head of State expressed his confidence in the further expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Emomali Rahmon good health and well-being, and the people of Tajikistan peace, progress and prosperity.
