The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has sent his condolences to the Prime Minister of Japan, Sanae Takaichi, following the earthquake in Kumamoto Prefecture, which resulted in loss of life and injuries. This was reported by the online news site AsmanNews.

On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, and on his own behalf, the Head of State expressed his support for the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives and wished those affected a speedy recovery.
