As part of a series of business events ‘An Hour with the Trade Representative’ organised by the Business Development Agency of the Ryazan region, a video conference with Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan Andrey Khripunov was held. This is reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

According to the source, the initiative is aimed at intensifying interaction between business communities of the two countries and expanding the export potential of the region.

The key issue of the meeting was the preparation of Ryazan companies for participation in the international exhibition ‘Turkmen Construction’, which will open in Ashgabat on 3 November. Participation in the event is planned in the format of a collective stand of the Ryazan region, where the companies will present products in the fields of construction, industry, chemistry and energy.

Andrey Khripunov spoke in detail about the most promising areas of export to Turkmenistan, focusing on the construction industry - one of the most dynamically developing in the country against the background of large-scale infrastructure projects.

The participants of the meeting also received detailed information on the specifics of entering the market of Turkmenistan: from customs regulation and product certification requirements to the existing instruments of state support for Russian exporters.
