Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, speaking at the conference ‘The Role of Women in Modern Society: Promoting International Cooperation for Sustainable Development’ in the ‘Awaza’ National Tourist Zone emphasised the importance of the work of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. L. Aliyeva noted that the Fund's activities are of humanitarian importance not only for Turkmenistan, but also for the whole world, contributing to the development of society and international cooperation. Among the Fund's priorities are the protection of children's rights, medical and educational support, and the strengthening of family and cultural values.
The Vice-President of the Foundation also focused on the role of women in modern society, emphasising their contribution to both entrepreneurship and cultural and educational initiatives. The Foundation seeks to create conditions for women to realise their potential and to support programmes that contribute to the development of society.
