President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked the President of Turkmenistan for the invitation and participation in the forum. The parties emphasised the importance of the conference as a platform for discussing the problems of landlocked countries and developing solutions.

Issues related to expanding cooperation in trade, economic, energy, transport and logistics were also discussed. The interlocutors confirmed their commitment to further developing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
