From 25 June to 4 July 2025, students and teachers from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers are undergoing practical training at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University. This exchange is organised within the framework of the existing cooperation agreement between the universities of the two countries, signed in 2018. This was reported by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

During the internship, guests from Uzbekistan will learn about the educational process, visit leading scientific institutions of Turkmenistan, including the International Scientific-Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences and the Central Botanical Garden, and participate in cultural events.

In mid-July 2025, a return visit will take place, with students and teachers from the Turkmen university going on an internship to the Tashkent Institute. This exchange contributes to strengthening scientific and educational ties between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in the agricultural sector, which is of vital importance to both countries.
