On 13 October, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Bayram Bayramov, arrived in the United Arab Emirates. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

He was warmly welcomed at Dubai International Airport by Rashid Abdulla Al Qaseer, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' representative office in Dubai.

During the meeting, Rashid Abdulla Al Qaseer welcomed the new Ambassador and conveyed his best wishes for success in further strengthening the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the UAE.

In turn, B. Bayramov expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings and best wishes from the Government of Turkmenistan to the UAE leadership.

The parties discussed upcoming protocol events, including the presentation of copies of credentials to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the presentation of credentials to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation.

The meeting took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, emphasising mutual respect and the parties' interest in further developing relations.
