The presidential plane of Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, who has arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit, has landed at Turkmenbashi International Airport. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.
The President of Tajikistan will take part in the ‘Central Asia–Azerbaijan’ summit and the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which will take place on 9 October.
Emomali Rahmon was met at the aircraft steps by Rashid Meredov, Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan.
The visit is aimed at further developing bilateral cooperation and collaboration within the framework of regional and international organisations.
