The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, sent congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on the occasion of the country's Independence Day. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

In his letter, the President of Kyrgyzstan noted that this holiday symbolises the unity, pride and desire of the Turkmen people for progress and development.

Sadyr Zhaparov emphasised that under the leadership of Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan is preserving its rich traditions, strengthening its international authority and demonstrating confident development.

The President of Kyrgyzstan also highly appreciated the warm and trusting relations between the countries and expressed confidence that further deepening of cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres will contribute to the prosperity of the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.

Sadyr Zhaparov wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health, long life and success in his public activities, and peace and development for the Turkmen people.
