National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the Harvest Holiday, which is celebrated at the state level and symbolises respect for the labour of rural workers and the pride of the people for the harvest on Turkmen soil, according to the state news agency TDH.

Hero Arkadag noted that due to the efforts of the President of Turkmenistan, the agricultural sector is developing in the country, modern technologies are being introduced, legislation is being improved, the profitability of agricultural associations is increasing, and advanced farming methods are being applied.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasised the centuries-old tradition of agriculture in Turkmenistan, achievements in the selection of new wheat varieties, and the importance of cooperation with the FAO to ensure food security.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also noted that the reforms being carried out are aimed at developing the country, increasing labour productivity and improving the lives of the people.
