Following the successful exhibition of Turkmen goods in Golestan, Iran, the provincial authorities are planning to organise a reciprocal event in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the online publication Business Turkmenistan.

The exhibition, which may take place in Ashgabat or Balkan velayat in the coming months, should strengthen bilateral economic and cultural cooperation, expand trade ties and increase trade volume by up to 30%.

The development of border infrastructure and a joint chamber of commerce between Turkmenistan and Iran creates a solid foundation for sustainable economic partnership and regional integration.

It should be noted that a large exhibition of Turkmen goods was held in Gorgan from 5 to 7 May 2025.
