CIET 2025 brings together international companies and Turkmenistan's industry

The International Conference and Exhibition ‘Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan’ (CIET 2025) has kicked off in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone. On the first day, B2G meetings were held between representatives of leading foreign companies and state structures of Turkmenistan, according to the news website Turkmenportal.

The participants discussed the prospects for joint projects in the fields of energy, industrial construction, transport and chemical production, as well as issues of financing and innovation.

The plenary session discussed sustainable investment and international cooperation in key sectors of the economy. Speakers included Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Baymyrat Annamammedov, Minister of Industry Toyguly Nurov and representatives of ‘Çalık Holding’, ‘Rönesans Holding’ and ‘Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’.

The first thematic session was devoted to the development of ‘green’ energy and the chemical industry. The discussion was attended by Minister of Energy Annageldi Saparov, Acting Chairman of the State Concern ‘Türkmenhimiýa’ Tanryguly Atayev, Minister of Agriculture Charyyar Chetiyev and foreign experts.

The CIET 2025 exhibition showcases the achievements of domestic enterprises and modern technologies of foreign companies in construction, energy and industry. Particular attention is paid to digitalisation and modernisation of production facilities.

The forum will continue on 4 November with thematic sessions, negotiations and presentations of new projects.
