The Turkish company Çalık Enerji will serve as the premier partner of the International Conference and Exhibition CIET 2026, dedicated to the development of Turkmenistan's construction, industrial, chemical and energy sectors. The forum will take place in early November at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat, reports the information agency «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».

Founded in 1998, the company operates in several countries and specializes in engineering, procurement and construction, electric power, renewable energy sources, digitalization and the development of energy infrastructure.

One of Çalık Enerji's largest projects in Turkmenistan is the «Mary-3» combined-cycle power plant with a capacity of 1 574 MW, which was inaugurated in September 2018. It became the country's first combined-cycle power plant.

Another project involves the construction of a combined-cycle power plant of similar capacity in the Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat. In October 2023, a resolution was adopted authorizing the State Electric Power Corporation «Türkmenenergo» to conclude a contract with Çalık Enerji for the construction of the plant and power transmission lines to connect it to the power grid.

The CIET 2026 agenda covers the development of industry, construction, energy, the chemical sector and infrastructure, attracting investment and introducing modern technologies. Forum participants will be able to exchange experience, discuss promising projects and establish business contacts.

Çalık Enerji's participation as the premier partner will provide an opportunity to showcase the company's experience in implementing major energy projects in Turkmenistan.
