The President of Bulgaria, Iliana Iotova, has congratulated the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the people of the country on Independence Day. This was reported by the news agency TDH.

In her congratulatory message, she highlighted the importance of developing bilateral dialogue and described Turkmenistan as an important partner for Bulgaria in Central Asia.

Iliana Iotova emphasised Bulgaria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest, based on friendship and constructive partnership.

The President of Bulgaria expressed her confidence that joint efforts would enable the two countries to realise their potential, including in the development of ties between Europe and Asia.
