BOMCA 10 provided Turkmenistan with equipment for quarantine control

As part of the ‘Border Management in Central Asia’ (BOMCA 10) programme, the State Plant Quarantine Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan received new IT and laboratory equipment worth €17,598. This was reported by IIC Turkmenistan.

The delivery includes 20 sets of computers with monitors for regional departments and border posts. In addition, the service received eight laser printers and one colour printer. To improve the efficiency of cargo control through the Single Window for Export and Import Operations system, specialists received four tablets.

Five digital microscopes were also installed at key checkpoints, which will speed up and improve the accuracy of decisions made.
