The opening of a new modern village Dovletli Mekan took place in Turkmenistan

A new modern village, Dovletli Mekan, was held in the Ongaldy geneshlik of Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat, timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of local authorities, deputies, public organisations, elders and residents of the region. A congratulatory message from the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, was read out, emphasising the importance of state policy in creating comfortable living conditions for citizens.

The new village has 400 residential buildings, an administrative building for the local council, a health centre, a school with 640 places, a kindergarten with 320 places, a shopping centre, and modern engineering and transport infrastructure. Green areas and a park have been created.

The school and kindergarten are equipped with modern facilities and conditions for teaching and raising children. The health centre and pharmacy provide medical services to the population. The shopping centre will provide residents with essential goods.

Guests at the ceremony toured the new houses, furnished and decorated in the national style, and learned about traditional rural rituals and cultural performances.

The villagers expressed their gratitude to the country's leadership for improving social conditions and developing the regions.
