On 23 September, a reception was held at the ‘Yyldyz’ Hotel in Ashgabat to celebrate Saudi Arabia's National Day. Among the participants were representatives of the diplomatic corps, embassy staff, members of the Turkmenistan government and invited guests, according to the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

This year, the Kingdom is celebrating the 95th anniversary of its unification, which took place in 1932 under King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. The holiday reflects the country's cultural heritage and its commitment to economic diversification and development.

Saudi Arabia was one of the first countries to recognise Turkmenistan's independence and established diplomatic relations with it in 1992. Today, cooperation between the two states continues to expand.
